Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Determine the necessary diameter and liner thickness based upon depth, diameter, shape, traffic loading, groundwater pressures and condition for this pipe segment. 2. Ensure calculations are prepared and stamped by a professional engineer. 3. Provide all necessary actions; provide materials, traffic control, equipment, and labor to complete the scope of work. 4. Construct Access and working area on the inlet and outlet side of the pipe. Contractor shall provide PennDOT a written E&S plan for disturbance area over 5,000 sf. Total disturbance area not to exceed 1 acre. 5. Dewatering as necessary. 6. Replace existing metal pipe end section (in-kind) on downstream end of culvert. (approx. 12’ length). 7. Install the liner. 8. Ensure that the annular space between the existing pipe and the liner pipe is completely filled with grout. 9. Install necessary rock protection on outlet end slope. 10. Re-establish access road and working area to pre-project conditions. Timber Matting or equivalent required in area noted on work area. 11. Remove any obstructions. 12. Patch existing pavement as needed, patch should match existing material in thickness and type and sealed along joints.
