    IMPLEMENTATION PROCESS
  • See an Online Demonstration

Each system is customized to ensure that it meets the needs of the agency or agencies which will use that specific site. To ensure the optimal design of each system, including functionality, options, and features, the IPT staff starts with a demonstration of a system which best represents the latest range of features. This demonstration, done live or via webinar, will help to ensure client familiarity with system capabilities and is open to all key decision-makers and staff.

  • Make an Announcement to Suppliers

Our IPT team works closely with each agency to create communications to be sent to suppliers in the agency database.  This announcement introduces the new bid system, invites suppliers to register online, and typically includes a date when the agency will begin notifying suppliers electronically when new solicitations are published.

  • Allow Suppliers to Register in The Online System

As suppliers begin to register, BidNet’s IPT support staff will assist with helping them get registered in the new system.

  • Activate the Agency Preferences

    • Key contacts that will be authorized to use the system.
    • Type of documents to allow buyers to publish.
    • Include digital signature functionality.
    • Include surplus auction functionality.
  • Provide Training to Agency Buyers

While suppliers continue to register, BidNet will provide on-site training to agency staff, authorized to use the system.   Training consists of “walking” through all system features, with a main focus on issuing sealed solicitations, online solicitations, addenda, awards and receiving and reviewing online responses.  Training typically takes the better part of one day.

Implementation

"Signing with BidNet was the best decision we've made regarding procurement for our agency. I am consistently pleased by the level of service BidNet commits to and the ability for personal interaction and involvement. Not often does one actually have the opportunity to enjoy major transitions, and with BidNet, consistently, there is less stress and more enjoyment on every level."
