New Cooperative Purchasing Module Launch

IPTbyBidNet will officially launch the new Cooperative Purchasing Module for our state and local government e-procurement networks on November 2, 2011. With the new cooperative purchasing capabilities, agencies that use any of our 19 e-procurement networks, representing more than 7,000 departments across 13 states, will now be able to share resources with other agencies in their regions in order to lower administrative and purchasing costs.

We are happy to announce that 7 new agencies have joined our Texas Bid System. We welcome the cities of Cedar Park, Hutto, Leander, Pflugerville and Taylor as well as the Georgetown and Pflugerville school districts. Recent Additions to the MITN System

We are proud to announce that the City of Woodhaven, Wayne County, the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority, the Charter Township of Independence, and the City of Taylor have all recently joined our MITN (Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network) System. This has been our fastest growing system and we look forward to having even more new agencies join in the near future.

Schenectady County, New York Joins Capital Region Purchasing Group

Schenectady County has joined the Capital Region Purchasing Group
(CRPG), an online procurement system that provides vendors with an
easier and more economical way to access and compete for government
bids. Schenectady County will now post online County invitations to
bid, informal quotes, requests for proposals, construction notices,
addenda and awards.

Congratulations to Keith Ashby on election to NIGP regional board of directors

Congratulations to Keith Ashby on his election to the National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) board of directors of NIGP for Region 10. States in region 10 include: Colorado, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.
Keith Ashby is the Purchasing Manager for Arapahoe County Government in Colorado, and an active member of the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System, which has 59 member agencies and 898 departments in the region.
